Senior C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Research and understand marketing requirements
• Determine the technologies for projects
• Develop design and architecture documents
• Design, develop and code key parts of the program
• Present technology to customers and partners
• Assist in the creation of the development process
• Help design and manage project builds

Requirements:

• 6 + years experience developing in C++ on multiple platforms preferred (Windows, Unix & Embedded Systems)
• 4 + years in a software architect role
• Good knowledge of COM, MFC and other Microsoft technologies
• Proficiency with web technologies and database highly desired
• Excellent object oriented design and software development skills
• Independently able to design and develop software components
• Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies
• Thorough understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance
• Exhibit political savvy and ability to influence and articulate a vision
• A solid understanding of business/product strategy
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and ability to drive the development process
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Great attitude and team oriented
• Experience with voice applications and technologies a plus but not necessary
