Senior Technical Solutions Architect

It’s time for change, exciting challenges, and opportunities to apply your expertise in new ways!  We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect/SWE for a growing technology company.  They are creating and delivering high demand technology in the mobile and cloud services space with a user audience of millions!  

Our client company’s Solutions’ architects and integration engineers play an integral role. You will be a driving force throughout the product development cycle providing technical leadership and expertise. You will have the opportunity to visit customers in North America, Europe and Asia providing technical expertise, training and support.  It’s a very high profile role in the company as you are involved with customer presentations and working with their customers’ architecture teams and technology.

Their platform has applications transforming the mobile ecosystem.   They create leading edge technology for major vehicle manufactures and electronics companies.  They can accommodate 16 foreign languages, to support its customers’ global product launches.  Other target markets include smart phones, netbooks, tablets and the digital home.

(Local to greater Seattle-Bellevue, WA area-must be eligible to work in the U.S.)

Responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and contribute technically to statements of work
• Review software architectures and provide design recommendations
• Participate in regular customer status calls providing technical expertise
• Receive, Setup and Configure target software/hardware environment
• Debug and Troubleshoot customer issues
• Work with other teams in the company to resolve technical issues
• Provide on-site integration support and training
• Present technical concepts and features to customers

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years relevant industry experience
• Extensive experience in C++ and other object oriented languages such as C# or Java. Experience with Bash, Perl or Python are a plus.
• Strong design and architecture capabilities
• Excellent organization, communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of HTTP, TCP, XML, .NET, Threading, Databases, IPC, or Networking is a plus.
• Experience working directly with customers is a plus
• Speaking multiple languages is a plus
