The Role

The R&D Supply Chain team has a great opportunity to work on the Enterprise Supply Chain Management systems. The systems support Purchasing, Facilities, Real Estate, Asset Management and Printing Services for our client company.   They combine complex business logic, legal requirements and technologies to streamline workflows and provide solutions to meet business needs. Work includes understanding existing business processes and providing solutions along with the appropriate software components. The candidate will have an opportunity to work on integrations with enterprise systems like SAP and PeopleSoft.

The R&D Supply Chain team in their Skillman, NJ office is seeking driven and dedicated developers to join our fast-paced team. We develop rich user interfaces as well as powerful backend servers in multi-platform environment using UNIX/C++ and .NET(C#). Developers contribute to all phases of software engineering from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance. Candidates should exhibit strategic thinking, an aggressive drive, and an aptitude for engineering quality software. Leadership, management, and mentoring experience also highly valued.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of software development experience in C/C++ in UNIX environment.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting languages/tools.
- 3+ years of experience with relational database design and programming.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Must be able to work in all phases of software development life cycle including Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Testing, and maintenance of software.
- Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills, with a logical and pragmatic attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Other desirable skills include

- Knowledge of C# .NET
- MS SQL Server
- Java and JavaScript
- Experience with building web based applications
